The purpose of Safeguarding Policies are to ensure our children are happy and safe in our school. They help provide protection for the children and young people at Eastcombe Primary School and provides staff and volunteers with guidance on procedures they should adopt in the event that they suspect a child or young person may be experiencing, or be at risk of harm.
If you have a concern please don’t hesitate to speak to our Designated Safeguarding Lead (Mrs Jones) or our Deputy Safeguarding Lead (Mrs Monk). We also have a designated Safeguarding Governor (Dr Gill Clifton).
The safeguarding policy should be read in conjunction with our Offer of Early Help. This and other relevant policies can be found on the ‘Policy’ section of this website.
Keeping Children Safe in Education (2023) has just been published. We will use this version from September 2023.
