Welcome to Eastcombe Primary School. We hope that you find here all the information necessary to gain a good insight into what happens in the school on a day-to-day basis and over the course of the year.
Our school vision states that we “Aim High, Believe and Achieve” and that is what you can see us all doing every day - from our youngest Reception pupils to our rather more aged Headteacher! Setting ourselves goals and working hard to achieve them becomes a positive habit for each of us.
Being a small school results in a true family feel; pupils, staff and parents all know each other really well. This provides everyone - but especially the pupils - with the confidence to not only celebrate their achievements but to air any concerns or worries.
Having small year groups and classes means that all pupils are supported well to achieve their very best in each lesson and throughout the day. This support builds confident, resilient pupils which is evident when you meet our Year 6 pupils who take on real responsibility – providing support at lunchtimes, leading assemblies and being ambassadors for sport, reading, music and much more besides. We hope that, when they leave us, pupils will have gained a thirst for learning and life that they will continue at secondary school and on into adulthood - with our five core values of ‘Respect, Resilience, Responsibility, Kindness and Collaboration’ in their hearts!
