What a busy week!

This was a week to celebrate reading at Eastcombe Primary School. As you have seen from the numerous Facebook posts we have participated in lots of activities to raise the profile of reading. We dressed up on World Book Day, had many book sales, decorated a potato as a book character, read different books, listened to lots of stories and received our reading passports. Phew!

We also started Archery lessons with Steph and Dan from Deer Park Archers. Everyone enjoyed the session, we required concentration and a steady hand.

Squirrel Class have been learning about weighing and measuring. They have enjoyed making pancakes to test their new skills.

Hedgehog class LOVED using the Boom Whackers! We learnt how to play Frere Jacques and next week will learn Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. If you are not sure what a Boom Whacker is keep an eye on our Facebook page this week.

Owl class are preparing for next weeks Mock Trial. They have been given their parts and are preparing their defence – someone has allegedly stolen an iphone!

There is another busy week ahead, keep following our Website and Facebook posts to find out everything we are up to. The Facebook page gives regular updates and lots of pictures showing what a wonderful place Eastcombe Primary School is and all it has to offer.

If you are looking for a school place we have spaces available in different year groups. Please ring the school office on 01452 770227 to find out more.
