Cross country success for KS2!

On a beautiful February afternoon, a team of 10 children from years 3, 4, 5 and 6 represented our school brilliantly at Painswick RFC. This was in a cross-country event for local schools, run by Atlas Sports.

Each year group had separate races for boys and girls. The distance for the year 5 and 6 races was 1.2 miles, with the year 3 and 4 race being 1 mile long.

A huge well done to all of the children that took part, you all represented the school brilliantly!

Year 6 girls: Cassia and Isabelle

Year 6 boys: Sam and Finn

Year 5 girls: Carmen

Year 5 boys: Charlie, Ben and Alistair (and Jayden entered as a year 4)

Year 4 boys: Jayden

Year 3 boys: Finn

A special mention must be given to Jayden from year 4, as he entered the year 5 boys race and finished an impressive 7th place. This meant that he qualified for a county year 5 race on Saturday 2nd March! Well done Jayden!
