Antarctica – a class talk with an expert!

Hedgehog class were given a talk by local Antarctic explorer, Rod Rhys Jones. Rod is the current chairman of the British Antarctic Monument Trust and he spent a year on an Antarctic research station as part of the British Antarctic Survey team. It was interesting to hear Rod’s first hand experiences of what was like on our planet’s coldest continent. The information that we learned from Rod was perfect to supplement our understanding of our current class topic ‘Poles Apart’.
